We all know the struggle of trying to sleep during a flight, and when you’re on a long-haul journey it can be frustrating when you can’t get some decent shut-eye.
However, Qatar Airways has just unveiled a new feature that could be a game-changer for frequent travellers; a double bed.
The airline has unveiled its new ‘QSuites’ which allow passengers in adjoining middle seats to create a double bed by reclining their seats and removing partitions between them.
And for an extra dose of privacy, the new suites feature partition panels so you could end up creating a mini bedroom, complete with two entertainment screens inside.
Travelling as a family of four? Then you can transform the two rows of double seats into a suite, making it easier to eat together and socialise – the perfect way to make time quite literally fly by.
For now the suites will feature on the airline’s London Heathrow-Doha route , onboard their Boeing 777 aircraft – but it’s not yet been revealed whether they will roll out the feature on other routes.
All sounding tempting right now? The bad news is that there is a catch.
The QSuites will only be available in Qatar Airways’ Business Class cabin , and with fares starting from £1,600 one way, it’s a fairly hefty investment.
However, there’s no need to rule out a Business Class journey completely – the airline is currently hosting its autumn sale with up to 40% off both its Economy and Business cabins!
The deals include routes from London Heathrow to a whole array of exciting destinations… but that’s not the only good news.
You could win free flights with them to any Qatar Airways destination for a WHOLE YEAR.
And with a flight network that includes Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Middle East, that could make for some seriously budget-friendly travelling.
There are plenty of other prizes up for grabs too from free upgrades to complimentary hotel stays – check out all of the deals on the Qatar Airways website here .
